Frame Overview
The HaloRC Corvus is our 4-inch cinelifter frame designed for carrying compact cinema cameras like the Blackmagic Micro Studio G2, Sony ZV-E10 II, GoPro Mission ILS and similar. The camera is secured on top with our Universal Camera Mount (UCM), providing 0–35° adjustable angle for capturing everything from slow, controlled shots to faster, more aggressive moves. The battery is mounted to the bottom with the motors inverted to create a compact size and centralised mass that helps deliver efficient, predictable flight characteristics for demanding cinematic work.
Designed with modern FPV systems in mind, the Corvus is compatible with both DJI O4 or O3 sytem, with protected camera mounting and adjustable angle. The included 12v regulator with XT30 output powers your cinema camera directly from the flight battery, simplifying wiring and reducing weight. The kit also includes TPU mounts for XT60, the FPV camera and O4 dual antennae, making it easy to build a clean, reliable rig.

The Corvus features our all-carbon universal camera mount, designed for flexibility and ease of use. With multiple 1/4-inch mounting points, it accommodates a wide range of cinema cameras and allows front-to-back adjustment to achieve perfect balance on the rig.
The combination of this mount with the compact size and inverted motor design of the Corvus frame provides you with no props in view of your camera feed from 0-35° (tested with BMMSCG2 7.5mm Laowa).
The mount attaches to the frame using a 90mm x 80mm pattern, making it easy to swap your camera setup between different builds. The mount is supplied with TPU bushings that provide a firm, semi-rigid connection to the frame. We found this solution to outperform AlphaGel in most cases during testing. However, for cameras with sensitive gyros or internal components, the mount also supports full soft mounting with AlphaGels (sold separately) to reduce vibrations where needed.

Included with the HaloRC Corvus is a rear-mounted panel fitted with a 12v voltage regulator, providing a clean power source for your camera via an XT30 male output. You can connect your camera using a suitable power cable, or simply plug directly into the 12v output when using one of our Blackmagic Micro Studio G2 backpacks.
The regulator supplies a stable 12v output at up to 2.5A, powered from your main flight battery. Wiring is simple, just solder the two input leads to your ESC power pads. Always ensure that your camera supports a 12v input before connecting.
Also included with the Corvus frame kit are various TPU parts used for securing your key components. The O4 dual antenna mount secures your original DJI antennae securely in place. Those running the O3 system can use one of these mounting points or fit O4 dual antennae instead.

The bottom of the HaloRC Corvus features an additional carbon plate that adds rigidity to the battery mounting area while creating a recessed channel for the battery straps. This allows the straps to loop cleanly through the bottom plate, leaving a flat surface for secure battery mounting.
The Corvus is designed to route the XT60 power connector through the frame, to the back, for an easy and clean connection to your battery. When using the recommended 2200mAh batteries, the connector can be run through the bottom plate and secured with the included XT60 mount. For larger, higher-capacity batteries, the XT60 can be routed straight out the back of the frame.
The HaloRC Corvus has been developed to provide the best possible platform for carrying compact cinematic cameras in the most demanding shooting environments. A large part of this development has been spent on refining the frame to provide super clean gyro readings in the flight controller.
Corvus uses our tried and tested interlocking arms and spine structure to provide unparralelled levels of stiffness. By minimising the vibrations (noise) being picked up by the flight controller results in drone that flies smooth even when pushing it hard.
